I’m a keen advocate of the revolution that Netflix seem to be carving in VOD. If ever you needed proof that Netflix are changing people’s perceptions, their confidence in serving up some April Fools nonsense was it.

Netflix introduced a series of implausibly specific categories such as “Surreal Ballets Based on a William Shatner Album” and “Reality TV About People With No Concept of Reality”. The thing is, it’s not as implausible as it sounds. “Movies Featuring an Epic Nicolas Cage Meltdown” is a category that could probably exist with Netflix’s existing capabilities. And you know what? I’d love it.
