Just as I said that Flickr was sorely neglected (I maintain - it was), Flickr relaunches with a radical redesign, including 1 Terabyte of space per user(!).
The design is a huge departure from the old Flickr, yet brings along a lot of design language from the iOS and Android apps. For all the things I'm unsure about with this new design, I love that its mosaic algorithm makes any photo look good. After all, that's what Flickr should be about.
It's surely no coincidence that this was launched within 24 hours of the Tumblr buyout, or you know, Yahoo moving to Times Square. This is clearly Yahoo shouting that they mean business, this time.
I miss the exclamation mark, though.
